Shipment tracking plays a critical role in the order fulfillment process. Customers expect timely updates about their orders, including shipment status and delivery progress. Tracking notifications help:
- Keep customers informed about their shipments in real time
- Build trust and improve the overall shopping experience
- Reduce “Where is my order?” support tickets
- Ensure transparency across multiple carriers and shipments
With ReachShip, tracking notifications are automatically triggered once the shipments for an order are created, ensuring customers receive complete and accurate tracking information without any manual effort.
Now, let’s see how the ReachShip Multi-Carrier Shipping Solution simplifies the entire tracking process for your eCommerce store.
Enable Tracking Notification Using ReachShip
To enable tracking notifications, first make sure your store is added to ReachShip. You can add a store by navigating to Settings → Stores in your ReachShip account.
While adding a store, make sure to provide:
- Store Reply-To Email, the email address where customers can send replies to tracking notifications
- Store Image/Banner used for branding and personalization in tracking emails

Please make sure to add your Store Reply-To Email (the email address where customers can respond) and Store Image while adding a store.
Custom Stores in ReachShip
ReachShip also supports adding Custom Stores for managing shipment tracking notifications more efficiently.
When creating a custom store, you will find two Store Type options:
- ReachShip
- Third Party Store
Select ReachShip if the orders and shipments are created directly from the ReachShip dashboard. Select Third Party Store if the shipments originate from external platforms.
While configuring a custom store, you will need to provide:
- Store URL
- Store Name
- Store Reply-To Email
- Store Image/Banner
Once all the required details are added, click Save Settings to complete the custom store setup.

Pro Plan Users
Pro plan users receive additional flexibility and branding capabilities for tracking notifications.
Along with the Default Template – Free, Pro users also get access to the Default Template – Pro.
