How to Obtain your DHL Account Credentials?
This article provides step-by-step instructions to obtain your DHL Express account credentials to calculate DHL Express shipping rates, print labels, and track the shipment with ReachShip.
You need to follow the steps below to obtain your DHL credentials:

Send a Request to Open a DHL Account
To obtain the credentials, you need to send a request to DHL Express. To submit the request, visit the link below: https://mydhl.express.dhl/us/en/forms/open-account.html.
Enter your Name, Company, Address, Phone number, and Email in the respective fields and click the Submit button.
The submitted details will be sent to their sales team, and they will contact you to assist further.
Once the account has been set up with the help of the sales team, you will get the account number to create and manage DHL shipments.
Get Access To Credentials
To get access to your DHL API credentials, start by visiting this page.
Here, click on the “Get Access” button at the top right corner of the screen.
Now, you’ll be redirected to the login page. Here, create a new Developer account by clicking on “Register Here.”
On the registration page, fill in your details such as name, email address, username, company name, country, and preferred site language.
Accept the terms and conditions and click “Send.”
You’ll then receive an email from DHL containing your developer account details.
Click the login link in the email to set your password.
Once your password is created, you’ll be redirected to the DHL Express API onboarding request form.
In this form, provide your DHL Express Account Number and Requestor Company Details.
Under the section “How would you like to use the API?”, choose “I require credentials to DHL Express – MyDHL API for an existing plugin/eCommerce platform/third-party solution,” and enter ReachShip as the Requestor Platform Name.
Next, select the requested DHL Express services, check all the terms and conditions boxes, and finally click “Submit.”
Once submitted, your DHL API access request will be processed by the DHL Express team, and you’ll receive your account via email after approval.
Set up the Credentials in your ReachShip Account
Log in to your ReachShip account.
Navigate to ‘Carriers’ under the ‘Settings’ on the left sidebar.
Here, enter your DHL Express account name, account number, Site ID, and password, then click ‘Validate and Save Settings.’
That’s it! You’ve successfully connected your DHL Express account to ReachShip.
