How to Obtain Your UPS Account Credentials?
This article provides step-by-step instructions for obtaining your UPS account credentials. You can use these to calculate UPS shipping rates, print labels, and track shipments with ReachShip.
You need to follow the steps below to obtain your UPS credentials:
- Sign up/Sign in to the UPS account
- Get your UPS Account Number
- Set up the Credentials in your ReachShip Account
Sign up/Sign in to the UPS Account
To get your UPS credentials, you’ll need to sign in to your existing UPS account, or, if you’re new to UPS, you can sign up for an account.
Note: Only customers in the US can register for a UPS account online. Customers outside the US need to contact UPS customer service to open a new account.
To register an account, go to the link – https://wwwapps.ups.com/doapp/signup
Fill in your basic details, including your name, email address, user ID, password, and phone number. After entering the details, enable to confirm the UPS agreement and click ‘Sign Up.’
Once you’ve successfully signed up, UPS will send a verification code to your email. Enter this code and select ‘Verify My Email’ to complete your UPS account setup.
Get your UPS Account Number
Sign in to your UPS account and go to the ‘Accounts and Payment’ section in the right sidebar. Add your payment details as prompted.
After you’ve successfully added your payment details, you should find your UPS Account Number on the ‘Accounts and Payment’ page, or it will be sent to you by email from UPS.
Set up the Credentials in your ReachShip Account
Log in to your ReachShip account.
Navigate to ‘Shipping’ under ‘Settings’ in the left sidebar.
Select ‘UPS’, enter your UPS account name and account number, then click ‘Connect’.
Note: For UPS, you’ll also find an option for third-party billing. If you select it, you can enter details like the third party’s account number, postal code, and country code — they will be the ones paying for the shipping labels.
You’ll be redirected to the UPS login page. Enter your Email or Username associated with your UPS account. Check the box to allow ReachShip access to your UPS account details, including account name, number, contact info, rates, and package tracking status.
Then click on ‘Continue’.
Next, you’ll be taken to the password page. Enter your UPS account password and click ‘Log In’.
Once logged in, your UPS account will be successfully connected, and you’ll be redirected to the Shipping page on ReachShip.
